Salsa
Mojito
Mojito is one of the most popular and known clubs of Barcelona. Sunday Salsa night starts as early as 9 pm and finishes as late as 5. There is a very international crowd. The dance level is mostly not so high. One might run into salsa shows and enjoy rueda casino (group salsa) or rueda bachata with 50 people at a time. At around 1am, the live music starts and lasts for about 2 hours with breaks in between. The best drink to enjoy is naturally Mojito. Prices may be a bit high, Mojito 9€ e.g.

Hip Hop
Jamboree
Jamboree is located in the historical Plaza Reial, which is by Las Ramblas. The club has two floors. The lower starts with Jazz at 9 with changing groups every day and converts into a high quality hip hop club after 12am. The club is also historical and has a real nice and cozy atmosphere with a highly international crowd. The place is worth the word of mouth.

Techno / Electro
Opium
Opium is one of the biggest clubs of Barcelona. It is not uncommon to hear that a world renown (mostly electronic music) DJ comes to perform in Opium. On Sundays, especially in the summer time, the night life in Opium starts as early as 9 with the sunset. One may enjoy the sun and beach before the night starts. Opium also offers its special cuisine in its terrace.

Jazz
Jamboree
This is by far the best Jazz Club of Barcelona. Many local and international jazz bands as well as individual musicians perform in Jamboree. There is live jazz concert in every day of the year with no exception. Jamboree changes its program each month and one may get a monthly calender to see the upcoming concerts. The fee changes between 10 and 20€. It is something not to be missed for Jazz enthusiasts. There are two performances, one at 9 and one at 10:30. The ambient is cozy and smells like a jazz bar.

Tango
Sunset Club
This is such a nice ambient for Tango. The Sunday Milonga starts at 6 with a class and continues with nonstop Tango 'till late at night. The floor is good enough, the ambient and the lighting isjust right for Tango. There might be occasional Tango shows of international Tangueros and Tango Schools in Barcelona.

Good Mix
Shoko
Shoko is a real nice and high quality club. During the day, it serves as a beach restaurant with style and convert into a stylish club at night. The Japanese type of decoration combined with beautiful lighting transforms the place to smooth club. The DJs spin in between the all-time-hits and electro-sounds, which really makes it a good mixture. Highly recommended for any time of the day.
